Most Front Line holster models are available with linings designed to provide a smoother draw and protection against holster wear. Several lining materials are available:
Suede
Most leather and Kydex® holsters are available with a smooth suede lining. In leather holsters the suede lining stiffens the holster and smooths the draw. In Kydex® holsters, the suede lining quiets both the draw and the re-holstering of the pistol and protects the holster against the extreme holster wear caused by Kydex®.
Alpha Lining
Many leather holsters are available with Alpha Lining, a teflon-based material that provides an amazingly smooth and consistent draw. Leather holsters lined with Alpha Lining require no break-in. The Alpha Lining protects the pistol’s finish against holster wear.
Velvet
New Generation (N.G.) and KNG (Kydex New Generation) holsters feature a waterproof, wearproof velvet lining. The velvet lining protects the pistols finish against holster wear and allows a smooth, quiet draw.
