The Half-Pancake leather holster is one of Front Line’s most popular outside the waistband holster models. This holster is molded specifically for each pistol model for which it is avaialable. In the Half-Pancake holster, the pistol rides comfortably high on the belt with a slight forward cant.
The Half-Pancake holster features a retention strap that is removable. The holster may be used without the retention strap for normal carry, or with the strap in place during activities that might dislodge the pistol from the holster. For most pistol models there are two snaps on the back side of the retention strap. This allows the length of the strap to be adjusted to fit around either the top of the grip frame or the back of the side or hammer. On some pistols (Glock, for example) the strap may be carried around the back of the slide and pushed forward with the thumb to release the pistol during the draw.
The Half-Pancake holster is available in premium brown or black leather, unlined or with an optional suede lining.
